Sutherland Shoots 62 in Canadian Open

    Former Bulldog golf standout Kevin Sutherland continues to perform well on the PGA Tour, where he has earned nearly $15 million in career earnings.

    Sutherland, competing in the Canadian Open, shot a round of 62 on Friday, the lowest round in his career. On his scorecard he made seven birdies and one eagle at the St. George Golf and Country Club in Toronto.

    He is 5-under par for the tournament after an opening round of 73 and is tied for 20th place heading into the weekend, four shots off the lead. Sutherland has one career PGA tour victory to his credit and ranks No. 83 in the Fed Ex Cup standings. His best finish this season was  a tie for 10th place at the Zurich Bank of New Orleans tournament.
