Come on out to Fresno State's campus with your friends and family this Saturday, October 16 to enjoy the Centennial Parade, which is one of the many ways Fresno State is celebrating their 100 year anniversary. The parade will start at 3:00pm, and it will follow a route which goes along Barstow and then winds its way through campus. It will feature nearly 60 student, alumni, and community floats, vintage cars, and even faculty dance routines. Some of the featured entries are the original 1938 "mascot" truck from the Jordan College of Agriculture, a construction feat from the Lyles College of Engineering, and the Henry Madden Library Book Cart Drill Team. There will also be entries from the Fresno State athletic department. These entries include a red convertible chauffeuring members of the 2008 National Championship baseball team while showcasing their championship trophy, a flat bed truck with bales of hay carrying the equestrian team, and the women's basketball team will be walking the route. After the parade, continue the fun at Bulldog Stadium cheering on the 'Dogs as they take on New Mexico State at Bulldog Stadium for the Homecoming Game. Kick off will be at 7:30pm, and if you don't have them yet, you can purchase your tickets here. Don't miss out on all the fun!
