    Equestrian Spotlight: Madison Silver
    Year: Senior
    Position: Western Horsemanship Captain
    Major: Kinesiology

Who's your favorite teacher on campus?
Mark Baldis (Kinesiology). He makes the class comical while teaching us.

What do want to do after you graduate from Fresno State?
I am currently applying to Physical Therapy graduate programs all over the country.

What's your favorite thing about Fresno State?
The equestrian team. The team has been a great experience and has taught me so much about life, responsibility and hard work.

How old were you when you first rode a horse and what do you remember about that experience?
Do the pony rides count? I really started riding when I was 5 years old. I just remember being the smallest kid with the biggest hair on the tallest horse in the barn.

What person would you most like to receive a riding lesson from?
Michael Colvin. He's a very well-known professional and has a lot of experience judging and training throughout his years.

    What's your favorite TV show?
Definitely Grey's Anatomy. I'm EXTREMELY addicted!

What do you do in your spare time?
Right now, my free time consists of filling out grad school applications, but normally I take any extra moment to sleep.

Who's the funniest member of your team?
Shawna McClurg.  She is probably one of the funniest people I know in general. If you ever see her, make sure you ask her to tell you a story. Her animation makes any story hilarious.

    What's your most prized possession?

Pictures of my family. They mean the world to me.

    What's your favorite meal?
I love all food. If I had to pick though, it would probably be Mexican food...or Jack in the Box.

What would surprise people to learn about you?
I am the middle of 5 kids.

    Describe your dream vacation?
Anywhere involving the beach and the sun!

Favorite part about being a Bulldog equestrian rider?
The girls on the team, and the opportunity to travel around the country and ride all different kinds of horses.

Something everyone should know about being an equestrian rider?
It's hard work, but it's completely worth it.

Best moment in your Bulldog Equestrian Career?
Winning two MVP awards in one weekend.

You know you are an equestrian rider when....
You don't smell the "horse smell" anymore!
