Wimbledon is always a great event to watch. There is so much history and class surrounding this event. I have been to Wimbledon only once in 2003 and was amazed about how vast and big the site was. There is always thousands of people watching the match on a giant screen on Henman hill. I was coaching at that time two canadian juniors. I had the chance to speak with Martina Navratilova in the gym, it was a great honor since I had helped Martina's doubles game during a training camp in Arizona the previous year.

I was disapointed to see my favorite player Roger Federer wasnt able to win his seventh Wimbledon Championship, which would surpass his record of six titles that he shares with Pete Sampras. The longest match ever between Mahut and Isner has been an incredible event, not just for tennis but for the entire world of sports. It is amazing to see how fit these guys are and winning 70-68 in the 5th set in an 11 hours match is something that we won't see in 100 years!

Fun fact: The women's finalist Vera Zvonareva was coached by the same coach as Anastasia Petukhova when they were younger in Moscow.

I welcome all the Fresno tennis fans to start any chats on this blog and look forward to speaking with you....
