Helping the 'Dogs to their a 5-0 mark in the Fresno State Kick-Off tournament last weekend, Langdon logged saves and did not allow any runs in her first three appearances vs. Sacramento State, UC Riverside and Sacramento State.
In her final tourney appearance vs. UCSB, she logged her first win of the year in the finale after she allowed only one earned run and struck out three in five innings.
Overall for the weekend, she led the team in ERA (0.66), saves (3) and appearances (4), and ranked second in innings (10.2), strikeouts (6), lowest opposing batting average (.214) and fewest hits (9).
Her four saves on the season has already tied a team season school record, and that same total ties for seventh-most in a career for the 'Dogs.
Season-wise in 2014, she also paces the squad in ERA (0.86) and ranks second in lowest opposing batting average (.222) and innings (16.1).
This week in the MW stat rankings, she led categories for saves (4), games finished (6), and ranks second in ERA (0.86) and sixth in opponent batting (.222).
Team-wise, the Bulldogs are 8-2 on the year and come off their first perfect tournament showing under second-year head coach Trisha Ford. This week they head to the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic and face three, top-25 teams (No. 2 Tennessee, No. 14 Arizona and No. 25 Texas) and two other NCAA tourney qualifiers in recent years (Long Island University-Brooklyn, Virginia) in the event in Cathedral City, Calf., Fri.-Sun., Feb. 21-23.
