Feb. 23, 2007 Fresno, Calif. - Bulldog Sports Properties and KFRE CW 59 announced a package that will provide Fresno viewers with the opportunity to watch the quarterfinals and semifinals of the men's games and the semifinals of the women's game live on KFRE CW 59 during the 2007 WAC Tournament held in Las Cruces, N.M. "The KFRE CW 59 is really proud to be able to again bring selected Fresno State WAC Tournament games to the viewers of the Central Valley. It is so great that the team will be back in the tournament under the superior leadership of Head Coach Steve Cleveland," Charlie Pfaff, KMPH General Manager said. "Fresno State athletics continues to be the local broadcast sports jewel of the valley and the KFRE CW 59 will continue to bring selected games to the viewers in the Central Valley for years to come." Through the Western Athletic Conference, KFRE CW 59 will be able to pick up the broadcast with Randy Rosenbloom and Larry Farmer calling the game action. "It's time for March madness and we are thrilled that two of our partners KFRE CW 59 and Bulldog Sports Properties are able to bring the WAC Tournament games to the valley," Paul Ladwig, Associate Athletics Director said. "We know the Bulldog basketball fans will enjoy the added coverage of the teams." The men's basketball quarterfinals begin on Thursday, March 8, with game times and seeds to be determined. The women's quarterfinals begin on Wednesday, March 7, and the semifinals will be played on Friday, March 9, with seeds and times to be determined. |
