Both the competitive co-ed cheer team and the competitive all-female dance team makeup the Fresno State Spirit Squad. Each segment of the Spirit Squad has different responsibilities but work together as one team. They serve as ambassadors for the Athletics Department, the University and the community as they enhance the fan experience at athletic contests, represent the traditions of the Athletics Department at campus functions and promote the University throughout the community events.

Check out the Spirit Squad homepage for more details about both teams along with tryout information, the Spirit Squad program application, a tryout informal consent waiver/application and a tryout physical form. All applications and forms need to be filled out and turned in on the first day of tryouts.
