On 'Senior Weekend', the first baseman appropriately led the squad for the three-game series vs. Colorado State in homers (2), slugging (1.250), total bases (10), on-base percentage (.636) and walks (3), and ranked second in batting (.500) and hits (4). With her her 2-for-3 first and second games of the series, she raised her multi-hit game season tally to 11 in 2014 - second-most on the team. She also became the second Bulldog to hit a pair of homers in a game this year in the second contest with her solo shots in the second and fourth innings. Her 2 RBI also marked her team-leading 10th multi-RBI contest of the campaign. Her 10 homers on the season leads the team and gives her 26 in her three-year Bulldog career (and seventh-most in school history). She also raised her career slugging percentage to .521 - sixth-best in school history. She also walked twice in the finale - the 18th contest this year where she has reached base at least twice. On the season, she ranks first on team in homers (10), slugging (.538) and total bases (84); second in hits (44), triples (3) and stolen bases (9); fourth in walks (17); and fifth in on-base percentage (.354). In the conference, she stands fifth in the MW in triples, sixth in homers and seventh in RBI on the campaign.
Team-wise at home last weekend, the 'Dogs (30-19, 14-7) went 2-1 vs. the Rams to win their sixth straight conference series (and fifth straight in 2-1 fashion) the last 1 1/2 months. Fresno State now heads into the final weekend of the regular season tied for the conference lead with Boise State, and has a three-game set at Nevada this Thursday-Saturday, May 8-10.
