J'Quyra Moncur-Blue named Fresno State Athlete of the Week

J'Quyra Moncur-Blue had an outstanding performance at the WAC Track and Field Championship Meet hosted by the University of Hawai'i. Moncur-Blue earned the title in the women's shot put with a heave of 14.73m (48-04.00). This mark currently ranks 2nd best in the WAC this season. Moncur-Blue also placed second in the hammer throw with a toss of 57.96m (190-02), adding points to her teams fourth place finish. She was also named the Outstanding Field Performer, an award voted upon by the coaches.
