Senior defensive tackle Logan Harrell led the Fresno State football team in its win over North Dakota, as he set a new career-high with 11 tackles in the game. He had 4.5 tackles for a loss and one and a half sacks against the Fighting Sioux. For his efforts, he was named the national defensive lineman of the week by the College Football Performance Awards and the WAC Defensive Player of the Week.
The 6-2, 275-pounder out of Santa Margarita, Calif. is leading the team in tackles this year with 22 through three games and he leads the WAC and ranks fifth nationally with 6.5 tackles for a loss. For his career, he has 15 sacks and 24 tackles for a loss. Harrell needs two more sacks to break into the top 10 for the most in school history.
