TeamSmile Returns to Fresno State for Fifth Year

    FRESNO, Calif. --- For the fifth year Fresno State will partner with TeamSmile to provide free dental care and instruction for area children in a fun environment while promoting the significance of good dental hygiene.

    On Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., TeamSmile, Fresno State, and the City of Fresno Parks Afterschool Recreation and Community Services Department will host 300 kids from the Neighborhood Parks Program in the South Gym located on Fresno State's campus.

    Fresno State student-athletes will be volunteering to spend time with the children to have fun and enjoy the experience, as well as, teaching them the importance dental hygiene.

    There will be 150 dental professionals, dental students and volunteers to provide the children with treatment.
