Senior wide receiver Isaiah Burse matched a school record with 17 receptions for 132 yards and one touchdown to help lead Fresno State to a 24-17 victory in the inaugural Mountain West Championship game against Utah State on Saturday night. The senior wide out reached double-digit receptions for the fifth time and went over 100 yards receiving for the fourth time this season, respectively. In the win, Burse also surpassed 200 receptions for his career, becoming the third receiver in school history to do so.
