Dec. 13, 2006
Fresno, Calif. - The Bulldog Sports Network announced the upcoming television schedule for the Fresno State men's basketball team. BSN will air seven games, including its first game of the season on Tuesday, December 19 at 7 p.m. against Stanford.
BSN will show its lone home game against the Cardinal at the Save Mart Center, before carrying six road Western Athletic Conference games. BSN games are shown in the Fresno market on KFRE CW 59, Comcast cable channel 5. All of the BSN broadcasts will feature Ralph Wood, as the play-by-play announcer, and Bob Donewald as the color commentator.
"We are excited about the BSN basketball package. Being able to bring the signature non-conference game to the fans and six great WAC road games is tremendous," Associate Athletics Director Paul Ladwig said. "The addition of Coach Bob Donewald will bring a new element to the broadcast as well."
In addition to its seven basketball games, BSN is producing its first "Hittin' the Hardwood" show, an insider's look into Fresno State basketball, hosted by Ralph Wood.
"Hittin' the Hardwood" will first air before the Stanford game, a half hour show, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on KFRE CW 59, Comcast cable channel 5. The men's show can also be seen Sunday, December 24 at 4 p.m. and once again on Sunday, December 31 at 4 p.m.
