Dan McLean

Dan McLean was promoted to serve as Fresno State's Assistant Athletics Director for Development in July 2011. McLean manages the day-to-day operation of the Bulldog Foundation, including the annual fund, major gifts and sports clubs. He is also the administration's operational liaison with the BDF Board of Directors and assumes responsibility for the organization, which is in its sixth year of its current structure and continues to evolve. In his previous role as Fresno State's Director of Major Gifts during the 2010-11 academic year, McLean was a driving force behind the Bulldog Stadium FieldTurf project, other capital campaigns and significant donations for student-athlete scholarships. His leadership helped produce record levels of philanthropic fundraising, including the number of Green V Society members as well as total dollars raised. McLean's experience also includes a year as the Regional Director of Development for the Oregon State University Beaver Athletic Student Fund. He received his bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in 2004 and master's degree from Wayne State University in 2007. |
