940ESPN to host Meet the Team event on Wednesday

The Fresno State men’s and women’s basketball teams will be at Campus Pointe on Wednesday evening as a part of 940ESPN Radio’s “Meet the Team” event to kick-off the season.
FRESNO, Calif. – 940ESPN Radio will host a "Meet the Team" event for the Fresno State men's and women's basketball teams at Campus Pointe on Wednesday evening. Student-athletes will be on-hand to sign autographs, take photos and mingle with fans.
The event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Throughout the event, and during the two hours prior, 940ESPN Radio will be live on location with host Ryan Williams. Coaches and student-athletes will join the hosts on the air during the event. The Fresno State Basketball Coaches Show with Paul Loeffler will run from 6-7 p.m.
The event will kick-off the 2016-17 Fresno State basketball season which begins for both teams on Nov. 11. The women will host Biola University at 5 p.m., with the men welcoming UTSA at 7 p.m. Fans arriving early for the men's game are asked to sit in the general admission sections until the conclusion of the women's game. Fans who have tickets for the women's game and would like to stay for the men's game are asked to sit behind the west basket. Parking is $10 during the doubleheader.
Single game tickets can be ordered by visiting the Save Mart Center Box Office located at the northwest corner of the arena, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or online through ticketmaster.com.
Group tickets for all games are on-sale now with discounts for groups of 10 or more. Please call 559-278-3647 and Press 1 to speak with a Bulldog Ticket Office sales representative. Mini-plans are also available and represent a significant discount when compared to the single game ticket price.
