• Fresno State leads the all-time series with Tulsa 4-2; the 'Dogs are 2-0 against the Golden Hurricane when playing in Fresno.
• Tulsa has won the last two pairings after the 'Dogs recorded four victories in their first four meetings - starting in 1999 when both teams were WAC member schools.
• In the fourth game of head coach Tim DeRuyter's Fresno State career, he took the Bulldogs to Tulsa on Sept. 22, 2012 - a game the 'Dogs were edged 27-26.
• Head coach Tim DeRuyter has history with incoming second-year Tulsa head coach Phillip Montgomery. While DeRuyter was defensive coordinator at Texas A&M from 2010-11, Montgomery was at Baylor. • KeeSean Johnson's three TD receptions rank tied for the 24th most in the FBS and second most in the Mountain West while his 19 receptions are tied for the 17th most in the FBS.
• In spite of the 52-17 outcome at Toledo, Fresno State did not turn the ball over in the loss. It was the 12th time DeRuyter's Bulldogs had a game without a turnover.
• The AFCA Coach to Cure MD game is Saturday, both Fresno State and Tulsa will wear Coach to Cure MD patches on the sidelines.
