Glaser, Delgadillo earn All-MW honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Two Bulldogs received 2017 All-Mountain West accolades, announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Sophomore forward Julia Glaser earned All-MW First Team honors and senior forward Myra Delgadillo earned All-MW Second Team honors.

This is Glaser's second career All-MW accolade, she was named to the All-MW Newcomer Team last season. This is Delgadillo's third career All-MW accolade, after being named to the All-MW Second Team in 2015 and 2016.

Glaser finished conference play with nine goals, 18 points and 35 shots with 16 on goal. She played in all 10 conference games, recording eight starts. The sophomore scored at least one goal in five conference matches, and scored the game-winning goal in three conference matches. In conference games only, Glaser ranked second in the MW in goals (9), goals per game (.90), points (18) and points per game (1.80). Named the NCAA Division I Women's National Player of the Week by United Soccer Coaches, during conference play. (Oct. 8 – Oct. 15). She tied the Fresno State program record for most goals in a single-game with four goals against UNLV, and the program record for most goals in a single-season with 15. Glaser is currently No. 4 in the NCAA in total goals and No. 17 in total points.

Delgadillo finished conference play with one goal, six assists, eight points and 17 shots with 12 on goal. She played in all 10 conference games, recording nine starts. The senior recorded at least on assist in five conference games. She had the assist on two game-winning goals in conference play. In conference games only, Delgadillo led the MW in assists and assists per game (0.60). She scored the equalizing goal against Colorado State, which lead to Fresno State's first conference win of the season. Delgadillo tied the Fresno State program record for most assists in a single-season with 10.
