Bulldog Wrestling inks three in fall signing period

The Fresno State Wrestling program and head coach Troy Steiner announced the signing of three student-athletes in the fall signing period on Wednesday.
"We are excited to welcome these three young men to our program," said Steiner.
"We really wanted to focus on filling needs for our program with this class, and I believe we have done that. We knew we had to add depth to our upper weights, and we did that with the addition of Nick Casperson of South Dakota and Isaiah Perez of Turlock, California. Both of these young men are nationally ranked in their respected weight classes, they both have competed and won at the national level," added Steiner.Â
"We are also very excited to have Lawrence Saenz out of Vacaville High School. Coach Birch runs a great program up north and we knew we wanted kids from that program to be Bulldogs. Lawrence has also proven himself on the State and National level and he will be looking to win a CIF State Tittle this season," said Steiner.
