Equestrian Senior Spotlight: Alex Peltier
FRESNO, Calif. - The fourth senior to be honored before Senior Day on Saturday February 17 is Point Roberts, Wash. native, Alex Peltier.
Peltier has been apart of the Fresno State equestrian team for three years after transfering from Delaware State at the conclusion of her freshman campaign. As a sophomore transfer, Peltier earned her first Bulldog point in a 73-71 win at Delaware State in the equitation over fences event.
GoBulldogs.com met with Peltier as she touched on her experience as a Bulldog and where she plans to be after graduation. Â
Q: Why did you choose Fresno State?
Peltier: "After I visited many different campuses, I chose Fresno State because of the weather and because it wasn't too far away from home."
Â
Q: Who is your biggest riding influence?
Peltier: "My biggest riding influence is my coach from back home, Justine."
Q: Who is your favorite horse to ride?
Peltier: "Atticus. Hands down."
Q: What is your most memorable win in the arena as a Bulldog?
Peltier: "Going back to Delaware and winning my point and winning the meet as a team."
Q: How would your teammates describe you?
Peltier: "My teammates would describe me as somebody who works hard for what they want. Also, probably nerdy and always in the library."
Q: What advice would you give to future Bulldogs?
Peltier: "Four years may seem like a long time, but it goes by quick. Work hard for your dream both in the classroom and in the ring."

Peltier: "The lifelong friends I have made and the team horses as well."
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
Peltier: "I hope to work towards attending medical school to further my study."
