Sophomore Njeri Omawahleh shattered the Fresno State school record for the women's 200-meter and helped the women's 4x400-meter relay team to a Mountain West win and another school record at the 2015 Mountain West Championships last weekend. Omawahleh's record time placed her second in the women's 200m with a time of 23.45. The former Edison High School athlete topped the school record which was held for 18 years by former Bulldog Angela Daigle who ran a 23.69. To cap the championships Omawahleh led the 4x400m team along with Kyra Johnson, Nailah Harris-Murillo and Dezirae Johnson, who ran away from the competition with a first place time of 3:37.39. The Bulldogs defeated the next best time by more than four seconds, a 3:41.77 mark by Wyoming.
