Sophomore tennis player Eric Komati stands undefeated as he began fall season winning all of his singles and doubles matches at the Napa Invitational Sept. 12-14. Komati was responsible for half of the 'Dogs victories, including a win over the top junior from Pepperdine, Rakshay Thakkar 3-6, 6-0, 7-5. The Sao Paulo, Brazil native also defeated Hawaii and Oklahoma State in singles over the weekend. Paired with Euan McInotsh in doubles, the duo recorded two of the team's three wins on the weekend including Oklahoma State and Pepperdine University.
Komati joined the Bulldogs last spring and saw action in all 23 dual matches with an overall 2013-14 record of 13-8 and led the 'Dogs with the most Mountain West wins (4-2). Komati is currently majoring in pre-business as he enters his second year at Fresno State.
