2017 (Senior): Appeared in all 14 games and made starts in the first three games of the season … totaled eight tackles, three solo, while adding a sack … had a season-high three tackles at No. 1 Alabama on Sept. 9 and added a pair of stops against New Mexico on Oct. 14 … recorded a sack at Hawai’i on Nov. 11 for his fifth career sack.
2016 (Junior): Played in all 12 games and enters senior season having played in 29 career games … posted eight tackles, 2.0 tackles for a loss and 1.0 sacks as a third down edge rush specialist during junior campaign … tallied a season-best two tackles in games vs. Sacramento State and Air Force … also notched his sack in contest against Sacramento State … added a TFL in matchup at Colorado State.
2015 (Sophomore): Played in 10 games … finished the season with 16 tackles, 4.0 tackles for a loss and 3.0 sacks … forced one fumble in the second game of the year at No. 14 Ole Miss … recorded a season-high eight tackles at San Jose State when he had one sack that helped Fresno State as a team set a season-high in sacks with six … had a sack on fourth down with 1:27 left in the UNLV game preserved the Bulldog come-from-behind victory.
2014 (Freshman): Played in seven games as a true freshman, participating in seven of the final eight games on the year... saw action for the first time on Oct. 10 at UNLV ... recorded first career tackle at Boise State on Oct. 17 ... recovered a fumble vs. San Jose State on Nov. 8 late in the fourth quarter that gave the Bulldogs the ball on the SJSU six-yard line in the 38-24 victory.
High School: Named to the Ventura County Star All-County first-team defense as a senior in 2013 ... was a versatile weapon for the Tri-Valley League champions, as he had 71 tackles, 15 sacks, three forced fumbles, a blocked kick and a safety playing defensive end ... also played tight end for the Eagles ... in a 39-14 victory over Simi Valley, he returned interceptions 65- and nine-yards for touchdowns and tackled a ball carrier in the end zone for a safety to match Simi Valley's total of 14 points while also recovered three fumbles in the game ... Green told the Ventura County Star, "I don't even know how to comprehend it. It's beyond what I can understand with football right now." ... in three seasons of varsity football, he recorded 176 total tackles, 23 sacks, 16 quarterback hurries, two interceptions - both of which he returned for touchdowns, forced eight fumbles, recovered three, blocked two field goals and had six receptions for two touchdowns.
Personal: Born in Inglewood, Calif. ... son of Melanie Gibson and Chris Green ... has one older brother, Kevin Bevans, who played football at Texas A&M Commerce from 2008-12 ... has five cousins that all played college football and his late grandfather, Glenn Edward Gibson, played football at Arkansas-Pine Bluff from 1954-58 ... majoring in civil engineering.
