Ten Bulldogs set personal bests against CS Northridge, CS Fullerton and Missouri.

Fresno, Calif. - Senior Sarah Goodlaw (Burbank, Calif.) set season and personal bests in the discus and javelin to help the Bulldogs to a third place finish with 178.5 points in a four-way meet with CS Northridge, CS Fullerton and Missouri. Missouri won the event with 198.5 points, followed by CS Northridge with 183.
Goodlaws throw of 151-11 in the discus was over three feet better than her previous mark and was good enough for first place. Goodlaw also took first in the hammer (169-5), shot put 44-10 3/4, and finished second in the javelin with a PR 136-11.
Senior Melissa Price (Kingsburg, Calif.) took first in the pole vault with a height of 13-0, and freshman Brooke Lankard (Visalia, Calif.) took second when she cleared a personal-best height of 11-6. That height now puts her alone in third place on Fresno States all-time list.
In the 3,000 meter event freshman Jennifer Smith (Lake of the Pines, Calif.) ran a personal best of 10:19.26 on her way to a fourth-place finish, over 22 seconds better than her previous top time.
Senior Renya Hill (Stockton, Calif.) took second in the 100 (12.45) and third in the 200 in a time of 25.63. Veteran sprinter Angela Daigle (Benicia, Calif.) continued to produce strong performances for the Dogs, finishing second in the 200 (24.71) and in the 400 in a season-best time of 56.11.
Other Bulldogs achieving personal bests in their events were Rachel Bauer (800-2:24.3), Brianna Denley (800-2:22.6), Autumn Lodwick (800-2:39.7), Brandi Jenkins (100 hurdles-15.44; high jump-5-0 1/4; triple jump-34-7 3/4), Rickisha Herron (long jump-17-83/4), Tami Thoreson (shot put-30-7; javelin- 100-10), Kayla Russum (javelin-133-9; hammer 104-5), Andrea Stelter (shot put- 34-9; javelin- 106-2; hammer- 165-5) and Amanda Walthour (hammer-147-4).
The Dogs next meet will be Saturday, March 27, at Sacramento State against the Hornets and a third team yet to be determined.
