    McKee and Bernard Take Home Top Honors

    This is the second year in a row Meagan McKee was awarded the top women's honor.


    2011 Track (Freshman): Competed in eight meets ... won the discus with a throw of 49.75 meters against Cal Poly on March 12 ... threw a season-best mark of 14.35 meters in the shot put on March 19.

    Prior to Fresno State: Competed in football and track and field at El Diamante...four-year MVP for track and field...earned football MVP honors and earned all-team and all-state honors...placed second at the state meet with a 190-0 throw in the discus.

    Personal: Born October 27, 1991 in Visalia, Calif....parents are Jennifer Wells and Mike Sandri...has one older brother...hobbies include sleeping, church, Netflix and fish...most admires his mother...chose Fresno State to stay close to his church and because of the great coaching.
