The women's indoor track and field team spent three days up in Washington for the Huksy Invitational and the UW Open.
Prior to Fresno State: Three-year varsity letterwinner in track and field at Carson HS...was named the captain of her track team both her junior and senior years...also was a letterwinner in soccer and softball...participated on her high school volleyball team as an outside hitter...her lifetime best throw in the shot put is 42-9.
Personal: Born March 10, 1992 in Carson, Calif....parents are John and Lacey Byrd...has one older brother, Johnathan...hobbies include reading, writing and the clarinet.
