The Fresno State track and field team kicked off the outdoor season in Berkeley, Calif.

Fresno State:
2012 Outdoor (Sophomore): Competed in five meets and two events ... won the 400m hurdles with a season-best 55.32 seconds at the Brutus Hamilton Open on April 27 ... also ran the third leg of the 4x400m relay at the Cal Opener on March 3.
2011 Track (Freshman): Competed in five meets ... ran a season-best time of 55.16 in the 400 meter hurdles on April 30.
Prior to Fresno State: Competed on the track and field varsity team...earned team captain honors...named MVP his senior year...lists his best times of 15.19 in the 110-meter hurdles, 39.44 in the 300-meter hurdles and 50.72 in the 400-meter.
Personal: Born May 22, 1992 in Stockton, Calif....mother is Margo Williford...has two brothers, Brian Oliver and Willie Williford III...lists his hobbies as running, learning new things, making people laugh, having fun and reading the Bible...lists his favorite athlete as Dwayne Wade because he is a great player and one of the most unselfish players in the game...most admires his mom because she is a single mother who raised three young boys into three good men...chose Fresno State because he prayed long and hard about what school to attend and God brought him here.
