    Fresno State:

    2012 Outdoor (Junior): Competed in the javelin in nine meets ... finished fourth at the Western Athletic Conference Championships ... won the Stanford Invitational with 60.07m throw ... set personal record mark of 60.52m at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational ... has longest javelin mark on the team ... fifth longest javelin mark in the WAC.

    2011 Track (Sophomore): Competed in seven meets ... threw a season-best 53.35 meters in the javelin on April 7.

    Prior to Fresno State: Played one season of baseball at Fresno City College...team was the Central Valley Conference champions...played short stop and second base...played two years of varsity baseball at Clovis High School...senior year was named team captain and earned MVP honors...participated in the City vs. County All-Star Game...honored with the Tim Simmons Sportsman and Character Award.

    Personal: Born March 22, 1990 in Fresno, Calif....parents are Dean and Betsy Oliver...has one brother, Dez Oliver...favorite athlete is Apollo Anton Ohno because of his hard work and determination...most admires his dad because of his work ethic and is a great role model...chose Fresno State for the construction management program.
