2013-2014 Outdoor (Junior):
Participated in eight meets including the Mountain West Championship and the NCAA West Preliminary Round ... recorded a college best 7.73m in the long jump to win the Mountain West Championships ... first place in the 4x4 with a time of 3:16.02, 4x1 with a time of 41.11, and long jump with 7.06m at the Fresno State v. Cal Poly Dual ... first place in long jump with 7.51m at the 2014 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays ... first place in long jump with 7.34m at the Sacramento State Mondo Mid Major Challenge ... first place in the 4x4 with 3:15.52, in the 200m with 21.81, and in long jump with 7.26m at the Bulldog Invitational.
2012-13 Outdoor (Sophomore): Competed in five events (100m, 200m, 4x100m, 4x400m, long jump) scattered across 10 meets with a focus in the long jump ... set a season and personal-best long jump distance of 24-9.00 (7.54m) on March 29 at the Stanford Invitational - finished first out of 11 jumpers ... season-best mark at Stanford Invitational was the No. 25 ranked qualifying mark in the NCAA West Preliminary Round in Austin, Texas ... the distance ranked second-best in the Mountain West and No. 48 overall in the NCAA ... claimed three additional first-place finishes in the long jump - posted a 23-7.50 (7.20m) at the Stanford Opener (3/2), registered a 21-8.00 (6.60m) as the 'Dogs hosted the Cal Poly Dual (3/9) and logged a 24-6.00 (7.48m) at the UNLV Randall Cunningham Invitational (4/13) ... closed the season hampered by injuries in the postseason - set marks of 23-10.00 (7.26m) at the MW Championships (fourth-place) and 22-11.00 (6.98m) at the NCAA Preliminary Round (43rd) ... set personal records in the 100m and 200m - clocked a 10.67 second 100 at the Cal Poly Invitational and a 21.47 second 200 at the Fresno State/Cal Poly Dual ... was the member of the season-best 4x400m relay team that timed in at 3:14.54, serving as the fourth leg at the Stanford Invitational. Named to the 2013 Spring Academic All-Mountain West team.
2011-12 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in eight meets and six events ... finished 24th at the NCAA Preliminary Round Championships in the long jump ... Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year ... won the WAC long jump title with 7.28m mark ... ran third leg of WAC Champion 4x400m relay team who finished in a season-best 3:13.32 time ... led-off second place 4x100m relay team at WAC Championships ... placed seventh at the WAC Championships in the 200m dash with a time of 21.99 seconds ... ran ninth fastest 400m time in the WAC (49.67) ... set personal records in the 100m dash (10.98) at the ShareSlo.com Cal Poly Invitational on March 24, the 200m (21.63) and long jump (7.52) at the Cal Poly Dual Meet on March 10 and 400m (49.67) at the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational on April 20.
Prior to Fresno State: Four-year varsity track and field and cross country competitor...earned MVP honors for track and field three seasons and two seasons for cross country...team was CMAC champions for three consecutive seasons.
Personal: Born Nov. 6, 1993 in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. ... parents are Vera Smith Harrison and Don Harrison ... enjoys drawing, painting and playing video games ... lists his biggest athletic thrill as jumping 24'-1" his junior year in high school ... chose Fresno State because he liked the coaches and the team was a good fit for him.
