Outdoor (Freshman): Competed at three events for the Bulldogs... ran the 100m and 200m.

Prior to Fresno State:
Attended Edison High School... played volleyball and ran track all four years at Edison... won the coach's award in volleyball and MVP in both track and volleyball... all-league second team in volleyball as a senior... personal bests include 12.2 (100m) and 26.5 (200m).

Born February 3, 1994 in Fresno... parents are Cynthia Young and George Brown... has one brother, Derick West, and two sisters, Vaunshaie Brown and Sequoia Mitchell... hobbies include playing volleyball, eating and hanging out with friends... favorite athlete is Sanya Richards-Ross because she works hard at what she has accomplished and win or lose she has a smile on her face... biggest athletic thrill is beating someone who is supposed to be the `top runner' at a meet... most admires anyone she can learn from... also recruited by San Francisco State... chose Fresno State because two of her high school teammates attend and she wanted to be able to run with them again.... majoring in social work.
