Competed in eight meets and two events, specializing in the triple jump ... tabbed a career-best 50'-5.50" (15.38m) triple jump at the Mountain West Championships and placed second overall - distance finished as the No. 2 ranked mark for the 2012-13 season in the MW ... qualified as the No. 30 ranked triple jumper at the NCAA first-round preliminaries in Austin, Texas ... registered a 50'-3.25" (15.32m) triple jump and improved ranking to No. 22 at the NCAA first-round.

Outdoor (Sophomore):
Competed in four meets and two events ... finished 23rd at the NCAA Preliminary Round in the triple jump ... won the Western Athletic Conference triple jump title with a mark of 15.33m ... finished second in the long jump at the WAC Championships ... set personal record mark of 7.19m in the long jump and won the triple jump with a 15.10m mark at the Cal Poly Dual Meet on March 10 ... won the triple jump at the ShareSlo.com Cal Poly Invitational on March 24 ... recorded longest mark for the triple jump in the WAC.

Outdoor (Freshman):
Competed in four meets ... took home the long jump WAC title with a leap of 15.28m ... competed in the NCAA Division I West Regional ... recorded a season-best in the long jump on march 12 with a mark of 6.93 meters ... jumped a season-best 15.35 meters in the triple jump on April 30.

Prior to Fresno State:
Three-time letter winner for track and field and one year competitor for varsity football...was the triple jump Sunkist League champion for three consecutive years...long jump league champion two years...CIF triple jump champion in 2009...ranked No. 3 in state for the triple jump and No. 7 in the nation.

Born April 15, 1992 in Georgia...parents are Craig and Tasha Pales...has two brothers, Christopher and Donavnen and one sister, Shaiann...father played football at Oregon State...is interested in all sports and hanging out with friends and family...favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant because he is the best NBA player...most admires his mom because she teaches him lessons of life...chose Fresno State because of a scholarship and his best friend Bryant Hannah attends Fresno State.
