Men's team takes first and second in shot put to complete the Stanford Invite on day two
43 Fresno State student-athletes earned 2012 Fall Academic All-Mountain West honors.
This is the second year in a row Meagan McKee was awarded the top women's honor.
Sophomore Taylor Jackson completed her first heptathlon on the season.

Participated in seven meets including the Mountain West Championship ... competed in four events ... recorded a college best 3:59.14 in the 1500M at the Fresno State v. Cal Poly Dual ... won first place in the 4x4 with a time of 3:16.02 at the Fresno State v. Cal Poly Dual ... won first place in the 4x4 with a time 0f 3:18.20 at the Sacramento State Mondo Mid Major Challenge ... won first place in the 4x4 with a time of 3:15.52 and in the 800M with a time of 1:52.28 at the Bulldog Invitational.
Competed in 10 meets and three events, specializing in the 800-meter run ... etched name in the Fresno State all-time record books at the Mountain West Championships after clocking an 800m run of 1:49.14 in the finals - the No. 5 ranked all-time mark in school history - earned a silver at the conference meet ... qualified for the NCAA first-round preliminaries as the No. 19 ranked individual in Austin, Texas with time run in the MW championships ... average time throughout season after nine 800m runs was 1:52.27 ... ran the third and fourth leg for the 4x400m relay team ... was the third leg on the Mountain West championship silver medalist team, team clocked a 3:15.31 ... named to the 2013 Spring Academic All-Mountain West team.
Cross Country (Senior):
Ran in three regular season meets as well as the Mountain West Championship ... recorded personal records in both the 6K and 8K in 2012 ... clocked a PR of 18:59.9 at the Aggie Open 6K on Aug. 31 ... logged a PR of 24:57.4 at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 13 ... crossed the finish line at 26:22.94 and placed 37th overall at the Mountain West Championships, hosted by UNLV.
Competed in four meets and two events ... ran fastest 800m time in the Western Athletic Conference (1:51.73) at the Mt. San Antonio College Relays on April 19 ... ran anchor on the 4x400m relay team that finished second at the Sacramento State MONDO Mid-Major Challenge on April 12.
Cross Country (Junior):
Competed in 4 runs ... Marking his season best in the 8K with a time of 25:53 ... Also ran at WAC championships.
Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman):
Competed in eight meets ... took second in the 800-meter dash with a time of 1:51.10, a season-best performance April 22 at Brutus Hamilton ... ran a season-best in the 1,500 meters on March 12 with a time of 4:02.03.
Cross Country (Sophomore):
Competed in every race for the Bulldogs...improved his career-best 8K time to 25:10.8 at the Bronco Invitational...at WAC Championships he ran a 26:54.91...highest finish was 14th-place at the 6K Nevada Twilight clocking a time of 21:47...earned Academic All-WAC honors.
Cross Country (Freshman):
Appeared in every race of the 2009 season ... season best of 25:49 came at the 8K Bronco Invitational ... placed 18th at the 6K Nevada Twilight with a time of 21:30 ... ran a 26:24.80 at the UC Irvine/Asics 8K... timed a 26:25 at the 8K Notre Dame... competed at the WAC Championships, finishing with a time of 29:09.5.
Four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track and field at Las Lomas High School ... earned Diablo Foothill Athletic League and North Coast Section first team honors ... three-time team MVP ... three-time state cross country qualifier ... awarded the Las Lomas High School Senior Athlete of the Year ... 2009 league champion in the 1,600-meter and 2008 league champion in the 800 ... served as team captain for both cross country and track and field ... holds the school record for the 1,600 (4:21) and the 4x400 (3:23) ... best marks of 15:37 in the 5K, 4:21 in the 1,600, 1:57 in the 800 and 50.0 in the 400.
