For the fourth year in a row, the Bulldogs have had over 20 student-athletes earn winter academic all-WAC honors.

Fresno State:
2012 Outdoor (Sophomore): Competed in seven meets and three track events (800m, 1500m and 5000m) ... finished fourth in the 1500m run at the Western Athletic Conference Championships on May 8 with a time of 4:42.00 ... ran season best 18:37.57 at the WAC Championships on May 8 in the 5000m ... finished 800m in season-best 2:16.00 at the ShareSlo.com Cal Poly Invitational on March 24.
2012 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in three meets and two events (800m and 1-mile) ... ran season-best mile time of 5:03.95 at the WAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 23 ... finished 800m in season-best 2:18.11 at University of Washington Indoor Open on Feb. 12.
2011 Track (Freshman): Ran a personal-best at the Brutus Hamilton Open in the 1,500-meter with a time of 4:35.43 finishing third ... she also competed in other meets.
2011 Cross Country (Freshman): Top finisher for the Bulldogs in the Nevada Chase Race in Reno Nevada ... Season best in the 5K at the Bronco Invitational in Santa Clara, Calif. with a time of 18:46 ... Also competed at the WAC Championships finishing with a time of 20:02.
Prior to Fresno State: All four years of high school she earned letters in Cross Country and Track and Field...her senior year earned second-team all-TRAC and Valley honors...finished 11th in the state her senior year.
Personal: Born July, 16 1991 in Fresno, Calif....parents are Lori and Steven Barserian...has one brother Seth Barserian and one sister Lindsay Hall...enjoys running, spending time with friends and boyfriends, ultimate Frisbee and eating tons of food...admires her parents the most because they brought her up with love and have always supported her...chose to Fresno State because she loves her hometown because it is where she is supported by family and friends.
