Fresno State:

2012 Outdoor (Junior): Competed in javelin in nine meets ... threw a season-best 56.01m at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational on April 28 ... second longest javelin mark on team ... finished eighth at the Western Athletic Conference Championships ... seventh longest throw in the WAC

2011 Track (Sophomore): Competed in eight meets ... recorded a season-best mark of 57.39 meters in the javelin on April 30

2010 Track (Freshman): The top javelin thrower for the Bulldogs...best performance came at the WAC Championships with a mark of 184-8 (56.28m)...earned Academic All-WAC honors.

Prior to Fresno State: Competed on both the varsity track and field and football teams...played in the CIF Championship football game...recorded a 50.0 in the 400-meter race and a 2:02 in the 800-meter.

Personal: Born July 15, 1990 in Fairfax, Va. ... parents are Jill and Leigh Stephens ... has two sisters Kristin and Kelly ... lists hobbies as snowboarding, surfing and going to the beach ... favorite athlete is Vince Papale ... biggest athletic thrill was competing in the CIF championship in football.
