Three Bulldogs set new personal records in the first day of competition.

Fresno State:
2012 Outdoor (Junior): Competed in five meets and two events (high jump and long jump) ... tied personal best 5'01.00" in high jump at the Brutus Hamilton Open on April 27 ... went a season-best 9.58m in the triple jump at Cal Poly Dual Meet on March 10.
2012 Indoor (Junior): Competed in the high jump at two meets ... tied personal record 5'01.00" in high jump at the University of Washington Indoor Open on Feb. 12.
2011 Track (Sophomore): Competed in seven outdoor meets.
2010 Track (Freshman): In her first year as a Bulldog Boone made an impact in the jumps...she set a PR in the high jump at the Cal Poly Dual with a 5-1 (1.55m) jump...she set a personal record in the triple jump of 34-0.25 (10.37m) at the Cal Poly Invitational...earner Academic All-WAC honors for the indoor track and field season.
Prior to Fresno State: Won four varsity letters in track and field as a jumper ... won the Outstanding Field Athlete Award in both 2008 and 2009 ... had best marks of 5-2 in the high jump, 33-11.5 in the triple jump and 15-7.5 in the long jump.
Personal: Born June 11, 1991 in Fresno, Calif. ... parents are Patti and Brenton Boone ... enjoys running, reading, singing and going to church ... a member of the Smittcamp Family Honors College ... the National Honors Society treasurer and member of the California Scholarship Federation ...academic focus in Kinesiology and aspires to be a P.E. teacher and track coach... most admires her parents because they have always been very supportive and encouraging while providing and instilling values in her ... chose Fresno State for kinesiology program, the Smittcamp Honors College and the track program.
