04/18/2012 21 `Dogs Earn WAC Academic HonorsFor the fourth year in a row, the Bulldogs have had over 20 student-athletes earn winter academic all-WAC honors. 04/13/2012 Women in Second After Day One of MondoThree Bulldogs set new personal records in the first day of competition. Last updated on June 22, 2012 Fresno State: 2012 Track (Sophomore): Competed in eight meets ... recorded a season best in the high jump at the UW Indoor Open with a mark of 1.55-meters ... set a season-best in the 100-meter hurdles at the Cal Poly/Fresno Dual Meet with a time of 15.96. 2011 Track (Freshman): Finished fifth in the heptathlon for the Bulldogs at the Mondo Challenge. 2011 Cross Country (Sophomore): Competed at Bakersfield, Calif. at the Roadrunner Invitational ... Finished the 5k in a time of 27:33. Prior to Fresno State: Four year letterwinner on the Gilroy HS track and field team...was TCAL Champion in 2006 and 2010...earned Gilroy Dispatch Female Athlete of the Year honors her senior year...earned 2010 Avis Kelley Female Athlete of the Meet honors...lists her personal bests as 5-6 in the high jump, 15.32 100-meter hurdles and 47.75 in the 300-meter hurdles. Personal: Born May 13, 1992 in San Jose, Calif....parents are Jeff and Sandra Una'Dia...has one brother, Jacob and one sister, Samantha...lists her favorite athlete as Amy Acuff because she taught her high jump and is an Olympic jumper...most admires her friends because they keep her company while she is away from home...chose Fresno State to run track and the Criminology program. |
