    Texas Relays Friday Heat Sheet Get Acrobat Reader

    AUSTIN, Texas -- Six Fresno State track and field athletes opened the competition for the Bulldogs at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on the campus of the University of Texas on Thursday.

    Sophomore's Kyra Johnson and Dezirae Johnson each finished in the top 18 in a field of 62 runners in the 400-meter hurdles. Kyra finished 11th with a time of 1:00.08 and Dezirae completed the race in 1:00.71 to finish 18th.

    Kamara Biawogi ran a 53.75 in the men's 400-meter hurdles to finish 30th out of 61 runners. The freshman was competing in just the third event of his collegiate career.

    In the women's hammer throw, senior Meagan McKee tossed the hammer 191 feet, 1 inch (58.24m) to place ninth. It was a seasonal-best throw for McKee. Roderick Dash, competing in the men's hammer throw, recorded a throw of 197-08 (60.26m) to post a new lifetime best. He finished 10th in the event.

    The Bulldogs will be back in action on Friday, March 28 at the Texas Relays. Action of the event can be seen on The Longhorn Network Friday afternoon.
