Austin, Texas. - Junior J'Quyra Moncur-Blue and sophomore Meagan McKee's personal records in the hammer throw at the NCAA West Preliminary Saturday were not enough to qualify for the national finals as the Bulldogs closed out their outdoor season in Austin, Texas.

Moncur-Blue had the highest finish of either Bulldog track & field team at the prelims. She tossed a personal best 60.31m to earn 16th place in the region.

McKee cleared her personal best by nearly two feet with a 58.54m throw that earned her 22nd place.

Junior Breeauna Thompson, the only Bulldog in a semifinal round, put together a solid performance in the 200m dash. She finished 27th in 24.40 seconds.

Fresno State concluded a successful outdoor season after watching several records fall, a combined eight WAC Championship titles earned and 30 conference medals return to Fresno. The Bulldogs sent 13 student-athletes to the NCAA Preliminary Round, the most in over a decade, and recorded five top 25 finishes.
