FSTC to Host Annual Golf Tournament

    FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State Track Commission will host the Third Annual FSTC Open Golf Tournament on Friday, April 25 at the Fig Garden Golf Club. All proceeds from the tournament will direct support the student-athletes of the Bulldogs' track and field and cross country teams.

    Fig Garden Golf Club is located in Fresno at 7700 N Van Ness Boulevard.

    It will be a four-man scramble format with a shutgun start at 12:30 p.m. The tournament will contests which include closest to the pin, longest drive, big hitter and a hole-in-one hole. Prizes for each vary from Nike golf equipment to Me-N-Ed's pizza and even the chance to win a 2014 Lexus.

    The cost is $500 per foursome or $125 for an individual player. The entry fee includes green fees, cart, lunch provided by TOPS BBQ, awards and recognition dinner, auction and the player gift box.
