FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State women's indoor track and field team heads back to Seattle to compete in the University of Washington Husky Classic and the University of Washington Indoor Open. The Husky Classic will run on Friday and Saturday and the Indoor Open will be contested on Sunday.

This is the Bulldogs' last weekend of competition before the Mountain West Indoor Championships February 27-March 1 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Tomorrow the weight throw will be contested and that will feature two Fresno State athletes. Both Meagan McKee and Caitlin Byrd will compete flight three, which is the top flight for the meet. McKee will also be in action in the shot put competition. She is in flight three for that event as well.

Kristen Galvez will run in the 5000 meter on Friday in Heat 1 which has 21 other runners. The Bulldogs will also have a 4x400 relay team compete in the event.

The other Fresno State athlete to compete is Alyson DeLaRosa, who will run the 800 meter.

The competition list for Sunday's Indoor Open will be released in the following days.
