FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Bulldogs track and field team heads to the central coast this weekend to compete in the Cal Poly Invitational. The Bulldogs competed in a duel meet on March 14th making this the second time this season that the Bulldogs will head to Cal Poly.

This time around the Bulldogs will face off against host Cal Poly along with UC Santa Barbara, Cuesta College and College of the Sequoias.

Coach Scott Winsor is optimistic that the Bulldogs will do well this weekend.

"We've had two or three good weeks in a row," Winsor said. "Right now its all about consistency and with consistency we should set ourselves up to compete well week in and week out."

The field events will kick off at 11:30 a.m. and the running events will start around 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
