Bulldog Women Win Season Opener, Men Place Second

The Fresno State cross country teams open season strong in the Fresno State Invitational.

Cross Country (Junior): Had a breakthrough season with five top finishes for the 'Dogs in six meets... placed 31st at the Mountain West Championships with a time of 28:05. 0 to help the 'Dogs finish seventh as a team... clocked his best 8K time of the season at the UW Sundodger Invitational in a time of 24:20.6 to finish fourth overall... also ran a strong 8K time of 24:23.3 in the Santa Clara Invitational to finish 18th... his times at the Sundodger Invitational & Santa Clara Invite rank 10th & 11th in the 8K program history, respectively.... was the 'Dogs top finisher at the NCAA West Regional finishing 105th completing the 10K in a time of 33:12.4.

Cross Country (Sophomore):
Participated in five races... ran his fastest 8K time at the Sundodger Invitational in a time of 26:55.... competed at the Mountain West Championships placing 64th in a time of 27:10. 

Outdoor (Freshman):
Did not see any action.
Cross Country (Freshman):
Participated in six meets including the Mountain West Championship and the NCAA West Regional Championship ... competed in three events... clocked a time of 21:52.6 in the 4M at the Fresno State XC Invitational to finish in 40th place ... timed in at 25:09.0 in the 8K at the Santa Clara Bronco XC Invitational.

Prior to Fresno State:
Four-year cross country letterwinner for coach Eugene Hart at Lincoln High School in Stockton ... cross country team MVP in 2011 and 2012 and also a team captain in 2012 ... Team was SJAA Champions 2009-2013.

Born in Stockton, CA ... parents are Tammy and Doug Voyer ... has one brother, Davis, and one sister, Macie.
