The Fresno State cross country teams open season strong in the Fresno State Invitational.

Cross Country (Sophomore):
Participated in four meets as a sophomore... Was the 'Dogs top finisher in all four meets with three top-10 finishes... finished 10th in the 6K at both the UW Sundodger Invitational (21:05.3) and Stanford Invitational (21:07.2) to run the fifth and sixth fastest times in program history.... placed sixth at the Fresno State Invitational running the 4.2K in a time of 14:29... was the 'Dogs top runner at the Mountain West Championships finishing 48th clocking a time of 25:21.8.

Cross Country (Freshman):
Participated in all six races this season... was a top three finisher in five races this season... ran her fastest 6K at the Mountain West Championship, 21:44 where she finished 33rd overall and 2nd for the 'Dogs.... was the top finisher for the Bulldogs at the NCAA Regional placing 81st with a time of 21:49. 

Prior to Fresno State:
Four-year varsity letterwinner in track and field and a two year letterwinner in cross country...graduated as the Hacienda League record holder in the 3200 meter-run and the school record holder in the 3200 meter-run...named team captain and MVP...San Gabriel Valley Runner of the Year 2012.

Born in West Covina, Calif....parents are Heather and Rob...has one younger brother, Josh and one younger sister, Emily...enjoys being outside and volunteering at her church...her favorite athlete is Lauren Fleshman for her determination and speed... her biggest athletic thrill was winning the Division III California State Meet and Section Meet and running her track 5K time of 17:01...most admires her parents for always being there for her and her siblings...chose Fresno State because she really admired the coaching staff, the team and the dirt trails.. intended major food and nutritional sciences.
