    Fresno State:

    2011 Cross Country (Sophomore): Ran in seven meets of the season ... finishing her 5K in 18:23 at the Bronco Invitational ... competed in the WAC Championships finishing with a time of 19:49.7 ... also ran in the NCAA West Regional meet for the Bulldogs finishing her season with a time of 23:01.

    2010 Cross Country (Freshman): As a newcomer participated in six races ... marked 16:44 for the 4K at the Nevada Twilight invitational in Reno, Nevada ... season-best at the Bronco Invitational 5K in Santa Clara with a time of 18:14 ... participated at the NCAA Regionals finishing with a mark of 22:52 for the 6K.

    High School: Participated at the varsity level for cross-country and track all four years of high school... competed at the Valley (TRAC) and State meets all four years ... ran on a 4x800 relay team at the Nike Outdoor Nationals ... was named to the All-Three Rivers Athletic Conference team all four years.

    Personal: Born Sept. 14, 1991 ... parents are Maria and Timoteo Mendoza ... has one younger brother Cesar and one older sister Maria ... most admires her mom because she has helped motivate her through her running career ... chose Fresno State because of the environment, teammates, and head coach Sean McManus because he has the same determination she does.
