Fresno State: (2000) Finished first among the team in every meet except the WAC Championships ? won the San Francisco State Invitational with a time of 26:25 ? ran a season-best time of 24:30 while placing second at the Stanislaus Invitational ? took eighth at the WAC Championships with a time of 26:18, earning second-team All-WAC honors ? placed 33rd with a time of 31:45 in the 10K NCAA West Regionals. (1999) Finished the season strong, placing 17th with a season-best time of 26:22 at the WAC Championships ? finished 25th and second among Bulldog runners at the Cal Poly Invitational ? finished 17th with a time of 27:10 at the Fresno State Invitational ? was named an Outstanding Freshman Performer at the Track and Field squad?s annual post-season banquet.

High School: Was a two-year letterwinner in cross country and a three-year letter winner in track ? captain of the cross country team in 1996 and 1997 ? was captain of track team from 1997-99 ? ran a personal best in the 1,600 meters of 4:13.71 at the state finals.

Personal: Born Aug. 29, 1981, in San Jose, Calif. ? parents are Kenneth and Cheri Roddy ? has an older brother Jason ? enjoys playing most all sports ? class president in high school ? wanted to come to Fresno State to participate in the cross country and track programs and to also go into physcical therapy ? favorite athlete is Jerry Rice.
