FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State cross country men's team placed 11th in its 8K race, while the women's team finished 14th in its 6K at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday.
The 'Dogs faced its largest field of the season on Saturday. The Stanford Invitational consisted of 29 men's teams and 256 individual runners. The women's team likewise, faced a field of 28 opponents and 284 other individuals.
The men's team was led by Olivier Bernard for the second consecutive week, timing in at 25:00, placing 24th individually in the 8K. Saylah Barserian paced the women as she timed in at 21:57 in the 6K race, she placed 40th overall.
The 'Dogs will have the week off before they travel to Santa Clara for the Bronco Invitational, on Oct. 13.
