Bulldog freshman Olivier Collin, won the Western Athletic Conference Individual Title Saturday, Oct. 30, at the WAC Championship in Moscow, Idaho. Collin finished the men's 8k race at Virgil Phillips Farm County Park, in a time of 24:34.21. He finished more than three seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Following the race, Collin was named the WAC Athlete of the Year, the WAC Freshman of the Year and First-Team All-WAC honors. Collin is the first runner at Fresno State to win the WAC individual title since 1992.
Collin will now head to Eugene, Ore. to compete in the NCAA West Regional Nov. 13.
