Fresno State (1999): Gave the Bulldogs strong outings from the bullpen and worked his way into the starting rotation at the end of the season ... picked up his first victory as a Bulldog when he pitched 2.2 innings against San Jose State ... made his first start in a Fresno State uniform at California ... came in during the first inning of the Bulldogs? game with BYU and held the Cougars to only one run for 8.2 innings, allowing Fresno State to get back in the game ... struck out a season-high 11 batters against Utah during 6.2 innings of work ... struck out 56 batters in 1999, fourth on the team.

University of Washington: Attended from 1995-97 ? was a two-year letterman for the Huskies, participating in the NCAA Regionals as a sophomore ? battled injury problems during his two seasons ? in 1996, finished 2-1 with a 6.08 ERA in 47.1 innings of action ? struck out 40 with 29 walks that season ? in 1997, pitched 19.1 innings, posting a 2-1 record.

Clovis High School: Played both soccer and baseball ? graduated in 1995 ? was the California Gatorade Athlete of the Year runner-up for soccer in 1995 ? named Clovis High Athlete of the Year as a senior, in which he posted a 12-0 record with a 1.15 ERA and 97 strikeouts in 83 innings ? was a first-team all-state selection.

Personal: Son of Sheryl and Dwight Hannah ... has and older sister, Carrie ... enjoys playing any and all in his spare time ? lists his biggest athletic thrill as winning the Pac-10 Championship at Washington in 1997 ? was drafted in the 53rd round by the New York Mets in the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft.
