Fresno State baseball claims eight All-Mountain West student-athletes, MW Co-Pitcher of the Year and Coach of the Year.
Senior outfielder Brody Russell and junior pitcher Jimmy Lambert are two of 43 semifinalists for the Gregg Olson Award given to college baseball's breakout player of the year.
Jimmy Lambert was named the Mountain West Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week, while Brody Russell earned MW Player of the Week for the second time in his career.
The junior right-hander tossed a complete game shutout in Saturday's 11-0 victory over Youngstown State. This is Lambert's first career MW Pitcher of the Week honor.
As we continue to inch closer to the start of baseball season, GoBulldogs.com caught up with junior pitcher Jimmy Lambert to learn a bit more about him.
