Fresno State: (2002) Started all games at third base this season after playing left field his freshman year ... led team with a .367 batting average, 49 runs scored, 88 hits, .412 on-base percentage, 127 total bases and a .529 slugging percentage ... had a 31-game hitting streak (March 15-May 18), in which he batted .400 with three home runs and 20 RBI ... the hitting streak was longest in the WAC for the year and was second-longest all-time in Fresno State history ... his 127 total bases and 88 hits were second-best in the WAC ... his batting average was third-best in the conference ... was a first-team All-WAC selection ... shared team MVP honors with Ben Fritz ... was named to the Pepsi/Johnny Quik all-tournament team as a third baseman after batting .458 with 10 runs scored and seven RBI ... had a 41 on-base streak from March1-May 25, in which he went hitless just three times ... his 49 RBI and 13 doubles were second-most on the team ... was one of the Bulldogs that hit back-to-back-to-back homers against Washington (Feb. 24) ... went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and four RBI against UC Santa Barbara (March 13), including a two-run homer ... went 4-for-6 with three runs scored and four RBI against Louisiana Tech (March 22) including a two-run home run ... was first Bulldog to homer twice in a game when he belted two solo homers against Washington (Feb. 24) ... had a walk-off RBI single against Louisiana Tech (April 5) in the bottom of the ninth with one out that gave Fresno State the 1-0 victory ... led squad with 26 multiple hit games and was second with 12 multiple RBI games ... helped Fresno State defeat No. 21 Long Beach State (Feb. 26) going 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI. (2001) Started 62 of the 64 games he played ... earned honorable mention freshman All-America honors by Baseball America ... was a second-team All-WAC selection ... batted .324 with five home runs and 50 RBI ... went 2-for-4 with five RBI including a grand slam against Santa Clara, April 25 ... went 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBI, including a two-run homer, in the NCAA Regionals on May 26, to help Fresno State beat Pepperdine 8-6.

Soquel High School: Lettered in baseball four years and in basketball two years ... named first-team All-Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League his junior and senior years ... named County Player of the Year his junior and senior year ... his senior season he hit .489 with 10 home runs, 52 RBI, 51 runs and no strikeouts ... holds the SCCAL record for all-time hits ... was voted AAU All-America his junior and senior years.
