The Fresno State baseball team had five of its players and three recruits selected during the three-day 2013 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft.
A total of three Bulldogs have been chosen during the first ten rounds of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft with Tyler Linehan and Austin Wynns hearing their names called Friday.
Fresno State improved to 18-4 in elimination games since 2008 as the Bulldogs sent home their second team in as many games.
The Bulldogs' pitching tandem of Tyler Linehan and Jordan Brink combined for 14 strikeouts and freshman Taylor Ward delivered the game-winner with a tenth-inning walk-off solo home run.
Fresno State and Air Force will play doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday before wrapping up the series on Sunday afternoon. Members of the United States military will receive free admission all weekend long.

2012 (SOPHOMORE): Made 15 appearances with 14 starts and one relief outing ... recorded a season ERA of 3.83 (10th in the WAC) with a 9-7 record ... pitched 83.0 innings on the season ... named a "Louisville Slugger" National Player of the week by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper after striking out 13 batters in 7.2 innings pitched and leading the 'Dogs to a 3-0 shutout of Butler on opening night (Feb. 17), making him the third Bulldog to ever receive this honor ... named the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week May 7 through May 13 after striking out eight batters and allowing only two earned runs in the 9.0 innings of work ... ranked fifth in the WAC for number of batters struck out with a record of 82.
2011 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 13 games, earning eight starts ... finished with a 4.27 ERA and 5-2 record ... struck out 42 batters in 46.1 innings pitched ... went a career-high seven innings against Hawai'i (May 1) striking out seven to tie another personal mark ... caught first runner stealing against Hawai'i (May 28).
