Fresno State defeated Sacramento State 4-3 in 13 innings to claim the 2012 WAC Baseball Tournament championship on Sunday at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Ariz.

2011 (Sophomore): First-team All-Western Athletic Conference ... Academic All-WAC ... played in 56 games, earning 54 starts ... finished with a .326 batting average ... scored 41 runs on 57 hits, including nine doubles and two home runs ... knocked in 21 RBI in 175 at-bats ... earned a career-high four runs against Hawai'i (May 28) after tying career-highs in hits (3), doubles (1), total bases (4) and at bats (5).
2010 (Freshman): Made 32 appearances, earning eight starts ... hit .189 with seven hits and six RBI ... made his first career start and hit against Washington (Feb. 27) ... recorded a career-best three RBI against San Diego State (Mar. 13).
Poway HS: Lettered two years in baseball ... won California Interscholastic Federation championship in 2008 and 2009 ... played in the north/south all-star game in 2008 ... named first-team All-CIF and Palomar League Player of the Year ... batted .390 with five home runs and 37 RBIs during his senior year.
